Whitney Donohoe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing mental health services primarily to children, adolescents, and their families. Whitney has extensive experience using cognitive behavioral and trauma focused therapy, but will often draw from mindfulness, family systems, and strengths based principles as well. Whitney is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Whitney received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, where she was selected as one of ten Child Welfare Scholars. Whitney has been an outpatient therapist in Detroit, a volunteer at an orphanage in Africa, and a school based outpatient therapist at C.R. Anderson Middle School. Whitney is passionate about helping families in the Helena area and is honored to collaborate with dedicated colleagues both at Rivers and Mountains as well as in the broader Helena community.

Whitney assists clients who are struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, grief, and trauma. Whitney is a participating network provider for the following insurance companies: HMK, HMK Plus, HELP Program, BCBSMT, Pacific Source, and Allegiance. All uninsured and self-pay clients have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Whitney provides Telehealth as needed if clinically appropriate.
